Softpaw and Jazz's Wedding, they had to surprse her with it. * * Fiona`Maclaren enters the Inn all dressed up and looks about, then arches a brow and sighs, shaking her head slightly  <`Harva`> He glances over at Fiona... smiles at her. "Hello Fiona. You look all ready and dressed up for something. Got big plans?" <Fiona`Maclaren> "You dont know sir?" <There is a huge flash of blue light. When the light fades the entire Inn is decked out for a wedding.> * Fiona`Maclaren flinches at the flash then kinda looks up at the ceiling "It took you long enough..." stares  <`Harva`> Chuckles "Oh yes I do but that's not for a little while..." he nods "Though I probably should go prepare as well. " <Fiona`Maclaren> "It's roughly a hour and a half sir" <`Harva`> He smiles "Please, no need to call me Sir. That makes me feel like I'm in the army or anything. Just call me Harva." He finishes his ale... <Fiona`Maclaren> "Well if I didn't know your name what was I to call you... 'hey you'? or 'fuzzball'?" she snickers and holds out a hand "I'm Fiona." <KalastroHarshmage> And opens the regular white void of Harshmage, and the hybrid form himself steps out.  He peers about with his black-on-black eyes as the void behind him snaps closed...As for right now, he's wearing his regular uniform of black...  <`Harva`> Nods and smiles "Horns calls me Fur rug, so fuzzball would have worked." grins toothily and extends his paw  "Harva... Towns' weaponsmith." * Fiona`Maclaren shakes the paw "I'm the head librarian." <`Harva`> Nods and smiles "But... you're right. I should go prepare. I'll be back later, Fiona." smiles and heads home.  <{15}> And Niju pops her head in out of the kitchen, reaching over to tap the Harsh one on the back, dressed in uniform as usual, but this time for a happier occasion then the last..  * KalastroHarshmage looks over his shoulder at Niju.. "Hey you.. what's up?" he says, turning around to see her clearly...  <{15}> She shrugs and grins sheepishly.. "The wedding decor... it seems..."  * KalastroHarshmage smiles and nods... "I know... I told Soft I would see her married before me... But it seems Jazz is beating me to it..." he chuckles  * Fiona`Maclaren chuckles, then turns around to Harsh and 15 and nods to them, then moves to sit up on a stool  <{15}> "Well, ain't that peachy..." Speaking of Fifteen, (Sorry for the confusion Jen, Niju's the one yacking at Harsh right now) the oddball female makes it a point to half drop in, and Harsh would see her hanging upside from the rafters, in a suit to match her sisters... did ya think she'd come in a dress? He'd notice her skin color has been changed to a greenish blue.  * KalastroHarshmage nods... then turns around, nodding to Fiona... then looking up... "Awww....15....no dress for today?"  he snickers  <{15}> "I'd come in my birthday suit before I'd wear a dress..." Which is basically the truth, and the reason she's in a suit... Niju doesn't even bother to smother her laughter... Harsh did ask for that.  * KalastroHarshmage does the anime insult with the tongue... "Nahhh..." he grins and turns to Fiona... "Sorry... can I get you anything?"  * KalastroHarshmage just nodnods... "Yeah... Just wait till you see mine... it's going to be good..." NOW he turns to Fiona and asks.. "I'm sorry.. can I get you anything?"  <{15}> "Err... You're gonna have one these to? Man... My uniform's riding up..." She twitches and tredges off, stiff legged, into the kitchen.. past Niju who leans on the doorframe to keep from falling over in a fit of giggles... <Fiona`Maclaren> "No, I'm fine..." blinks at 15 and giggles  * KalastroHarshmage snickers... "Aww... poor 15... you should get used to it..." he looks to Niju and burts out laughing...  * {15} wanders back out of the kitchen with a cup of coffee and an odd expression... <KalastroHarshmage> And somewhere he nods to Fiona and takes a sip of his drink, the lightning flickering over his eyes briefly... * Fiona_MacLaren settles back looking around the room then gets up to inspect the small altar that is now before the hearth and the circles on the floor  * {15} leans herself up against the bar as her sister examines the drink racks, wondering rather or not she should start on the alcohol before the wedding... * KalastroHarshmage looks to Niju... "Now don't start on the wine before the wedding... we wouldn't want a drunk bauru while it's taking place..." he smiles and looks around also... he smiles to himself now... "I wonder if my wedding will be anything like this..." he mutters to himself...  * Fiona_MacLaren looks back over at harsh "Mmm... probely not." <{15}> "Uhh... Harsh... Bauru can't get plastered, at least not on the stuff you humanoids drink..." Fifteen chuckles as she sips her coffee and Niju just smirks with a look of 'wanna bet'... * KalastroHarshmage shrugs as he takes notice that Fiona heard him... "Well... I don't know... I was married once before... Heh... I pulled out all the stops..."  * Fiona_MacLaren points to altar and the small pile of colored cord and a very interestingly designed and bejeweled dagger "That's not what I meant!" * KalastroHarshmage tilts his head as he takes notice of the items... "Oookay... so maybe not..."  * Fiona_MacLaren chuckles "It's not that you're thinking." <{15}> "It's a wedding, not a maiden sacrifice so don't get any wild ideas..."  * Derion moves downstairs slowly, taking his time on purpose, it'd seem. Moving a little stiffly. He wears none of his armor, and lacks his sword.. Still has the silver pants, and covering his upper half is a plain white sweater with a hood, wings folded up on his back..  <Fiona`Maclaren> "When a Cattassan weds.. any one Cattassan or non Cattasan part of the ceremony is to cut the palm of the left hand and share blood. the two then become bonded by their blood and their souls.. that in itself is the main part.. for a  formal ceremony the hands are tied together first while vows are said.. after an exchange of rings are done." she points to the small pillow with the rings on it * Takara` walks along behind Derion, holding on to one of his hands lightly... "Are you sure you're well enough...?" * KalastroHarshmage nods... "I think Soft said something about that once... But I know mine was never like that..."  he chuckles as he drifts back in his memories...he comes to in a couple seconds...  <{15}> "Wow.. Our people hit the caves, do the wild thang for about three days then just wander off again.." And people wonder why she's never heard of a wedding before... Niju on the other hand has been around human kind for a longer period of time and be considered more civilized..  <Derion> Do the wild thang... That's very charming, Em.. :P Derion glances to Takara, and nods a bit. "I'm sure..." He pauses at the bottom of the stairs, and glances around. * KalastroHarshmage looks over at 15, and raises an eyebrow...but looks away, shaking his head...  * {15} just sips her coffee..  * Takara` nods "Ok..." * Takara` doesn't seem too convinced... Angel boy should convince her...  * Derion shifts his attention back to her, crinkling his nose a bit. "Honest, I'm fine." He gestures towards table. "Shall we sit..?" * Takara` nods...  * Leonine pokes his massive lion head through a blue portal in a shadow looking around  * Fiona_MacLaren looks over sensing the portal then blinks "Hello Leonine!" she knows better then call him his majesty or bow * Leonine nods and steps through the portal fully. "Hello, Fiona. It looks nice."  * Leonine is a massive 10 foot tall Lion man. He wears regal clothing and a coronet is set in his golden mane. At his side hangs a broadsword with a ruby blade. Yet for all his fierce looks there is a gentle quality about him. And you can see his sense of humor in his eyes.  <Takara`> "I'm sorry... I just worry about you... You're the only one I have..." <{15}> "Whoa... Finally a male that's taller then I am.." She gazes at the lion type curiously..  <Fiona_MacLaren> "I had nothing to do with it" she smiles, rising up to move over to him "Stars did it all.. amazingly enough." <Leonine> "I heard he had returned to known realities." he nods. "Its quite good."  * Fiona_MacLaren nods again then glances over at those at the bar and gets vaguely amused by their reactions to her king "Aye, much changed as well." * KalastroHarshmage just barely bows to Leonine..."Good day sir...Can I get you anything before I go to get prepared?"  * Leonine nods to Fiona then smiles to KalastroHarshmage. "Perhaps an ale."  <{15}> "Have a tankard.."  * KalastroHarshmage nods and gets Leonine the ale...he sets it down on the bar for him.. "There you go sir...I must be leaving now.. I have to get some forces to watch over our two to be wed.."  he says, and opens a void behind him  <{15}> "Have fun.." She waves after Harsh and jumps in behind the bar.. tender duty, woohoo! Niju just sorta watches the room from beside the kitchen door..  <Leonine> "I do believe I have that covered."  slight chuckle as he takes the ale and sips it.  <`Harva`> Door opened again aaaand he lumbers in. wearing a classy outfit, but not too extraordinary, and carrying a large package under one arm, perhaps 5 x 5 ft in size and about 5 inches thick. He looks around.. Smiles as he sees Leonine and heads over to the tall feline  * Derion nods a little bit, and ushers Takara to a table.. where he pulls a chair out for her, then seats himself down carefully.  * Takara` takes the offered seat, watching Derion quietly...  * Fiona_MacLaren looks over at Harva as she settles down to wait  * Leonine sips his ale, glancing around idly.  * KalastroHarshmage dropped out earlier..  * Derion looks to Takara. "I'm fine.. Stop worrying.." <`Harva`> He smiles at Leonine "Greetings, Sire..." and makes a bow. "It's a pleasure and an honor to meet you, Sire." * Takara` bites her lip... "I'm sorry..." * Leonine nimbly places a beany hat on Harva. "No need to bow, and its Leonine." grin.  * Derion chuckles a bit, settlings back against the seat. "It's alright.." <`Harva`> He blinks... and raises an eyebrow, then grins... extending a massive paw in greet, though it will probably be dwarfed by Leonine's "Harva... Master Weaponsmith... It's a pleasure meeting someone who's bigger than me." I'll go find a seat now." Nods and heads over to the bar to get a tankard of ale first.  * Derion chuckles a little, and smiles a bit. Assumidly, Ayumi is with him.  <[Melyssa]> Juniper comes racing in from upstairs and finds a seat next to Side. <Q`Slash> Side grins when he sees Juni "Hey kid, where were ya?" <Fae`Kitty> Yah there's Ayu in her black attire, didn't think to change into her kimono... Plus, she hates the thing anyways...  holding onto Drows arm and looking about excitedly  <[Melyssa]> Juniper "Sorry! Tutoring ran late." <Fae`Kitty> Dia takes a seat next to Harva after being kissed  * Jamndude wanders into the inn, yawning a little. He's a bit confused as to what's going on...  <Q`Slash> Drow "Just think, Ayu, someday we'll get all this attention..." <`Harva`> Silver strolls in, in her normal leather dress and gloves.. Takes a seat. Lessee ... Ger comes in wearing a pair of black pants and an elegant black buttoned shirt... All normal... his long hair bound in a ponytail, as per usual.  <Q`Slash> Side "Ohh.. makes sense. but next time, you should always tell your guest your gonna be late. why? because I was a bit worried, all things considered." <_`[-_-]`_> Zam, Deldran, Whitney Darkstar, Imuya, Triad (with Sage), Danny Dian and Rachel Darkstar, The fourspirits (without Barthain, plot for another time), Turlock, Greg, Meeka and Graz Enchar all make their way into the inn. There's a very very excited Atsirk, in a nice, simple ash grey dress c'mon love!! she hops off the bar, and finds a place to sit  <`Harva`> THUD slip ........ <_`[-_-]`_> Thad zips down after Atty and finds a place to sit.   <Fae`Kitty> Any of Jen's chars that are with any of Thad's chars sit down with them... same goes with any one else's chars that are with anyone else's... muns handing over temp playability to others 'cause she has to play Softpaw now  <{15}> Goldrol skips in downstairs in festive emerald robes and clamors in next to the Bauru sisters, followed by two more twins, the demon twins that also belong to Fifteen family and her odd brother.. wee.. people... they all sit in one row, making for one heck of an odd reunion of sorts, not counting the two who don't belong to the family..  <`Harva`> Aaand after a few moments the tiny door underneath the main doors would open and Liyna, the orange chibigriff would pad inside, rubbing its forehead "Darn windows... Sheesh." and flutters up to on top of a rafter.  <JohnMcCravic> And then the white void of John opens, and he steps out, wearing a suit... duh... it's black... he moves to the table where the other hybrids came in, and they all wave at him as he waves back...  <Leonine> "I see the guests are beginning to arrive. Excellent. .... " he downs the ale and flicks his ear causing the ale to fade away. His breath perfect. <{15}> And the Floofy Thang would follow the griffon... just 'cause.  <Q`Slash> Whoa... there's something no one should have suspected, and even surprised the mun. In the shadows, a form is just barely visible. Cold, tired blue eyes peer idly from a shadow's corner. A female elf, her presence almost ignored, a large black beastlike wolf at her side. ShadowWolf decided to grace the event with her presence! * The-Boys run in laughing, looking around.  <`Harva`> He finishes his ale as well and takes a breath mint. No magic here. Smiles at Dia and gently rests his paw on her lap. She smiles back and rests her hand on his paw. Kazuo enters in a hurry with Catriona trailing... He looks around and finds a spot "I'm sorry hon. I really thought it wouldn't start till one hour from now..." she giggles and nods "We're here on time anyways so it's ok, Kaz." * Leonine chuckles, waving a massive paw to the boys.  <Derion> Teahilis moves downstairs with Belle and finds a seat. Sage is of course seated with Triad. Pisryl, in human form, is seated somewhere off to the side quietly. A void opens and Midaza steps inside not long after John and the hybrids, in a simple... dress?... Ooer! She sits down with them. Serena appears, sitting near Sage and Tri. Even Jeraga, the big ol'  thing... makes her way inside and sits somewhere not so near the bulk of the groups silently... Derion glances around, brow arching a bit.  * Q`Slash notes the playing children "Thad, I want some!" <{15}> Yet another Bauru follows in behind the boys... yes... all the Bauru can be expected... except maybe Mandahs... they seem to have a telepathic relay going... She looked no different when in dragon form, but when she landed in front of the inn and walked in, she had definitely put some time into getting ready. She had spent some time arguing with her hair to get it to do what she wanted, but she had succeeded in gathering it up off her face in curls, while strands were also curled to frame her face. The dress had a low neck, but not too low, and laced up back with thin shoulder straps. Adar hadn't seen it on her yet, but he liked her in just about anything, but she was looking forward to knowning what he thought about it.   <Fae`Kitty> Aannddd a parade of Jellical, jellical kittens and one very LARGE tiger man *mun has Warmaker show up* come in via the kitchen <Derion> Lhun wouldn't be very far from Blossom. He stands dressed in a thick, full red velvet dublet, over a pure white tunic lased up over his chest. He has on nice dark pants. "Each of these blessings from the four cardinal directions emphasizes those things which will help you build a happy and successful union. Yet they are only tools. Go figure. <Bronwyne_Darke> Aidan swings his little legs as he sits on the beam... wondering if his mummy and daddy got married... he watches with innocent curiosity <Leonine> "Vannessa, will you burden him?"  <Softpaw> Her ears twist a bit hearing some people talk but she looks at Jazz, her voice clear "Mayhaps." <_`[-_-]`_> Stars is quietly asleep in back in his chain metal tux. <Leonine> "Is that your intent?"  <Softpaw> Her voice even clearer now "Never." <Leonine> "Jazz, will you burden her?"  * Jazz_Reddington frowns a bit "I may." <Leonine> "Is that your intent?" <The_Q`niverse> Side looks to Silver, for no apparent reason  * Jazz_Reddington stands a bit straighter "No." <Gerstuff> Silver is looked at. she looks back at Side and tilts her head  <The_Q`niverse> Side shrugs * Leonine to both. "Will you share the burdens of each so that your spirits may grow in this union?"  <Gerstuff> Silver leans in to whisper to Side  * Softpaw nods "I will." <Gerstuff> She winks at Side then resumes weatching the ceremony, snickering softly to herself.  <The_Q`niverse> Side's ear perks and he grins, stifeling a giggle  <Jazz_Reddington> He nods "Aye." <Leonine> "And so the binding is made." drapes the 3rd cord across their hands.  <Leonine> "Vannessa, will you share his dreams?"  * Softpaw smiles at that one and nods "Always and willingly." <Leonine> "Jazz, will you share in her dreams?"  * Jazz_Reddington nods "Oh yes..." * Leonine to both. "Will you dream together to create new realities and hopes?"  * Softpaw smiles "Aye." <The_Q`niverse> Side's ears perk at that last one, thaaaaaaat one doesn't mesh well with his personal philosophy on life, but, meh <The_Q`niverse> Meanwhile, Malla continues to chew on Vel's eartip  <Derion> Mandychars are still silent. watching. <Jazz_Reddington> "Yes." <Gerstuff> Velkys just sighs. shoulders slump and he closes his eyes.  <Leonine> "And so the binding is made. Number 4, can't go back now." waggles eyebrows and returns to the service. Drapes the 4th cord over their hands. <Leonine> "Jazz, will you cause her anger?"  * Jazz_Reddington nods slowly "I will..." <Leonine> "Is that your intent?" * Jazz_Reddington looks into her eyes. "Not ever." <Leonine> "Vannessa, will you cause him anger?" * Softpaw gives a wry smile at that one "Aye." <Leonine> "Is that your intent?" <Softpaw> "Never." she shakes her head  <Gerstuff> There's a very soft thud sound as Liyna falls over, fast asleep.  * Leonine to both. "Will you seek to never give cause to break that honor?" <Derion> ... And ... again ... All Mandychars sit quietly, glancing about at the fidgeting people ... before their attention is returned to the three at the front. * Softpaw smiles and her tail moves to seek out Jazz's "Never." * The_Q`niverse 's chars do what they do, the muns of there significant others can take em over for a bit. might bbl  * Jazz_Reddington his tail finds hers and he holds his smile "Never." <Leonine> "And so the binding is made." he drapes the last cord over their hands and begins tying them together. "The knots of this binding are not formed by these cords but instead by your vows. Either of you may drop the cords, for as always you hold in your own hands the making of breaking of this union." * Leonine removes the cords and places them on the altar and picks up the rings.  * Softpaw smiles and when her hands are freed she reaches up to lovingly caress Jazz's face  <Leonine> "The wedding ring is the outward and visible sign of an inward and spiritual bond which unites two loyal hearts in endless love. It is a seal of the vows Jazz and Vannessa have made to one another. Bless these rings, that Vannessa and Jazz, who give them, and who wear them, may ever abide in thy peace. Living together in unity, love and happiness for the rest of their lives." * Jazz_Reddington reaches over to take the ring from Leo, softly taking her hand and slipping the ring on to it. "Vanessa, I give you this ring as a symbol of our vows, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you. In the name of the great maker, With this ring, I thee wed." <Bronwyne_Darke> Her head tilts, watching the couple and cannot help but smile. For some reason it takes years off her face, perhaps she should do it more often. Now it seems she is not plagued with worry but is here for her friends as they finally tie the knot. Tomorrow she is going to see Kally and perhaps nag him into something similar even if it means a more stable commitment. Eyeing the bar over yonder... makes sure the faes are not up to no good  * Softpaw smiles as he says this and looks at the ring on her finger, then turns and takes his ring from her father and reaches for his left hand. "Jazz I give you this ring as a symbol of our vows, and with all that I am, and all that I have, I honor you. In the name of the Great maker I thee wed." * Leonine turns and picks up the dagger and hands it to Jazz then addresses those gathered. "Many of you know already that cattassan magic runs in our blood, when a catttassan weds, the blood of the couple is exchanged, as is the magic, this is the part of the wedding ceremony that truley binds them to one another's heart, body and soul, in fact, many couples merely pre-form this in private and then they are considered wed."  <Gerstuff> Ger squeezes Jara's hand... brushing over the scar on his own palm then over the one on hers  * Jazz_Reddington reaches out with his right hand to take the dagger and reaches for her left. As gently as he can he draws it along the palm of her hand  * Softpaw takes the dagger with her right hand and carefully slits Jazz's left palm, then holds her left hand to his so that their blood will intermingle  * Jamndude blinks. he sure didn't remember THIS kind of ritual in the last wedding he was at... then again, an avatar and a goddess mixing blood that directly wouldn't have been too effective. Soft gasps softly as this happens her hand griping to Jazz's tightly  * Jamndude erks at the sensation... "That feels weird..."  <Bronwyne_Darke> Blinks, her bright blue eyes widen... feeling this magic... cringing she starts to pale a little... hoping its not going to make her digestive organs see the light of day - in lay mans terms... she hopes she doesn't have a queasy stomach for a few days... as magic that comes into contact with her has a somewhat negative affect... * Jazz_Reddington gasps he feels the bond strengthening beyond that which it was. Power, strength, love flowing around them, filling the inn and passing through all those assembled, possibly filling them with love and feelings of goodwill, all positive emotions enhanced tenfold  <Gerstuff> Whydah blinks and shakes her head... muttering softly to herself  <Leonine> "In as much as you have each pledged to the other your lifelong commitment, love and devotion, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Those whom God has joined together let no one put asunder. Jazz, you may kiss my daughter. And your bride too." grins.  <Lavitus`Sin`N`Shale> And yet Sin merely stands, his arms crossed now that he is done eating, a feeling of coldness about him, casting aside those feelings as Lav and Shale look to Sin then to Ana before Lav shakes his head sadly  <Jamndude> The Dwarves give a collective "Awwww..." At that. They get it at least. * Softpaw grins and looks up at Jazz, waiting for the kiss  * Jazz_Reddington and he does so with great relief, moving forward, taking her up in his arms. Setting her down, he lifts her veil and he kisses her deeply and lovingly, not caring about what the others think or have said, only living for this moment <Bronwyne_Darke> Watching the pair exchange the vows, the ceremony a wistful sigh. Personally, she is not the romantic kind but today there are exceptions. Exhaling she glances about, wondering if its contagious - love.  * Softpaw tightens her grip around his neck as she kisses him back deeply, passionately, the couple still glowing faintly as she starts to purr loudly. Right now only he is in the room with her  * Leonine manipulating space and time a bit. The roof is suddenly not there. Above in the sky fireworks are seen for a good 10 minutes straight. Then the roof returns and the fireworks stop.  <Tegan> The babies and tods all watch and giggle  <Gerstuff> Chars look up and aww and ooo <Bronwyne_Darke> Blinks, a hand over her eyes... "Cor... blimey... Wot a show!" her head tilts  * Softpaw continues to kiss Jazz. She hears the fireworks... in the back of her mind but doesn't see them  * Jazz_Reddington continues, kisses Soft. As well for him, no one else exists yet. All in the world is perfect  <Lavitus`Sin`N`Shale> Sin rolls his eyes and shakes his head as he stalks out of the Inn, Lav frowning slightly as does Shale as they follow   * Jamndude 's brain slowly remembers the last time he was at a wedding. Then that was also the last time he saw fireworks... wait... fireworks... "The last time I was at a wedding... there were fireworks... then the chapel exploded!" Ray whaps him on the head. "The inn isn't going to explode, goof ball."  * Leonine steps into a blue portal, glancing over at Stars he falls into one as well.  * Softpaw pulls back at long last and smiles up at Jazz finally  <Bronwyne_Darke> Grins at the two and raises her brows, just loud enough for them to hear "Now comes the Mae West(best) bit, the honeymoon... heh, know wot I mean, then, guv?" Nudge Nudge wink wink say no more  <Q`Slash> Drow: "Let their nookie... commence!!" the hybrid laughs  <Jamndude> Mrow? * Jazz_Reddington purrs loudly and turns to look at Bronwyne and chuckles  * Softpaw leans against Jazz and looks over at everyone "Thank you all." <Gerstuff> Harva rises and smiles... gently kisses Dia's forehead as he walks over to Jazz and Soft, holding the package behind his back as he extends a paw to both in congratulations and greet "Congratulations..." * Jazz_Reddington holds Soft, still purring "Yes thank you very much." <Q`Slash> Suicide wipes his eyes and looks at the sleeping Juni, her head pillowed in his lap. He gently picks her up and cradles her, ready to take her to his room. Meh, she can spend the night, he's not busy tonight.  * Softpaw looks at the packages, then up at Jazz "Thank you." Harva gives Jazz a "You take it" look  <Q`Slash> Atty pokes Thad, repeatedly  <Bronwyne_Darke> Winks and grins at the pair, looking at her dress... fidgets with the belt... mumbling a bit... looks up and chuckles... she shrugs with a matter of fact expression... then looks to the group gathered "No worries Softpaw, may yer and Jazz 'ave many if not - eternal 'appiness! Blimey! Free cheers for the bloomin' bride and groom! Right!" <Lavitus`Sin`N`Shale> Unfortunately Lav and Shale are out chasing his "dullard" son as he referred to him earlier  <Bronwyne_Darke> Twaps her elbow... how it got there... she doesn't know  <Gerstuff> Silver looks at Side... nods... then heads home. All Ger chars head home, except Harva.
