<Goldrol`Quinndil> The flames within the hearth suddenly become a soft emerald color and are reduced to no more than a warm breeze as far as heat is concerned. Then, with a rather awkward entrence into the Inn, for the first time.. A young lass literally rolls in from out of the hearth, landing in front of one of the couches on her bum, covered in ash and soot. Afterwards, the flames return to normal... * Catriona_Glenys is all bundled up and, well, she is complaining as they enter, in that thick southern accent of hers, about how it never gets this cold in the part of Cattassia where she's from  <Kazuo`Raidon> Offering a tight embrace in his strong furry arms of his as a comfort to her, to try to warm her up a bit again, he looks around, smiling at the decorations. <q> "Tell me about Yule again? What is celebrated this time of year?"  * Horns enters the inn again, looking about the place slowly, curiously  <Catriona_Glenys> "The sprite of peace and hope and of giving and love and friendship." She nuzzles the underside of his chin, then looks over and waves at Horns as he enters right behind them, her angle not good to see the little lass that tumbled from the hearth * Goldrol`Quinndil peers around, her features hard to make out, given she appears to be almost complety black from ash.. Yellowish eyes blink in a confused fashion and fire-colored hair sticks up all over the place.. She wears black robes with laughably long sleeves that touch the floor when her hands are on her hips and once polished shoes to go with the suit as well as an expensive looking under coat with white cuffings around the colar/sleeves.  <Kazuo`Raidon> He nods to Cat, not seeing the creature yet... <q> "A worthy celebration..." He smiles and kisses her softly  * Horns looks over to Goldrol`Quinndil, nodding to her in greetings from more or less across the inn  * Goldrol`Quinndil could almost be taken as being a human from under that mess.. She blinks a few times at the sight of Horns and then shakes off in a rather animelistic fashion, sending the ash and soot flying in all directions  * Horns chuckles at the sight, walking over to her swiftly  * Catriona_Glenys nods and smiles. "Aye, it is." Then she blinks and looks over at the girl from the hearth  <Kazuo`Raidon> Getting soot and ash all over him kinda gets his attention as well as he looks over his shoulder at the strange girl, smiling at her in greet. * Goldrol`Quinndil peers around at all the peeps watching her, mainly Horns, though she doesn't seem entirely worried as she hasn't really even bothered with standing up yet.. She just sort of flashes everyone sheepish grins.  * Catriona_Glenys mnerfs when her coat gets soot on it - she doens't like getting dirty  <Kazuo`Raidon> He frowns at Cat's being dirty and her mnerfing... tilts his head and smiles, resting a paw on her coat and speaking a silent incantation... the dust would seem to evaporate, leaving her spotlessly clean again.  * Horns smirks at the grin of Goldrol, offering a hand to her once he reaches her. "Hi!" He says with a bright smile.  * Catriona_Glenys smiles up at Kaz "Thank you, love." * Goldrol`Quinndil takes his hand and raises to her feet.. She's rather skinny and quite tall, standing a good 6'3".. A rather odd sight indeed, given she appears to be no older then 13 years of age. <Kazuo`Raidon> Nods and smiles, casting the same spell on himself and pulling up a chair for Cat, knowing Horns has the strange girl covered... speaking to Cat again "Do you wish to drink something, love?" <Horns> "Are you all right?" he asks Goldrol curiously after eyeing her <Catriona_Glenys> "Some hot chocolate would be nice, some of Softpaw's special blend." <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Yeah.. just had a rough landing.."  <Kazuo`Raidon> Nods slowly <q> "I.. think.. I can manage that." He smiles and nods, making his way behind the bar and setting about, making drinks.  * Horns nods to her slowly. "Can I help you with anything, milady?"  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Uhh.. yeah.. where am I?"  <Horns> "Ah, this is the Gilded Rose Inn... um... or how general would you like to know?" * Catriona_Glenys watches Kaz leave, then moves to open up her box and pulls out several bunches of green twigs with white berries on them, all in small sprigs, tied with red ribbons - and she starts to go from table to table randobmly about the inn and ties them up in the rafters and one sprig over the door  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "So this place really does exist.."  <Horns> "Really exist?" He asks her curiously "Why should it not?" <Kazuo`Raidon> He returns again, holding two tall glasses of Soft's special mix hot coco, setting them down on the table as he patiently awaits Cat's return, always with a smile, curiously following her movements.  <Catriona_Glenys> The hot chocolate would be in mugs.. you don't put it in glasses  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "I read about it in a book once.. most places in books are just someones own ideal of the perfect world.."  * Catriona_Glenys looks down at Kaz from her perch atop a table and smiles "Hey thanks!" * Horns laughs merrily at that. "I wonder who wrote that... we are far from perfect here. But we try hard."  <Kazuo`Raidon> He nods and smiles, offering to support her for balance <q> "Are you careful, love..?" <Goldrol`Quinndil> "No one's perfect.."  <Catriona_Glenys> "I'm fine, in fact all done!" She hops down off the table, then looks up and sees Kaz stand right under a sprig and leaps up to lay a big ol' kiss on him before dropping back down to her feet with a grin  <Horns> "And... how did you get here then?" He asks Goldrol curiously, then facepalms. "Sorry about my manners - I am Horns. Pleasure to meetcha!" He says, extending a hand to her <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Ehh.. it's kinda a weird and long story.. but to make it short someone handed me a bag of glittery dust, told me to throw it into a fireplace then stand inside it and yell out the name of my destination.. so I thought I'd see what I got when I tried for this place.." She giggles, watching him facepalm. "People call me Goldrol, or Goldie." <Kazuo`Raidon> He smiles at her, then gently catches her in his arms before she reaches the ground and kisses her deeply  <q> "We do not need mistletoe to kiss, do we..?" <Horns> "Goldrol... a nice name." He says with a nod "Fairy dust...?" he chuckles lightly at that "You have a way to go back as well?" <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Uhh.. no.. I don't think it was fairy dust.. fairy dust makes you fly.. and yeah.. I should be able to go back the way I came.. it's sort of a two way portal.."  * Horns nods and chuckles. "Well, you plan on staying for a while then?"  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Yeah... why wouldn't I?"  <Horns> "Maybe this place seems too boring?" He asks her with a chuckle * Catriona_Glenys smiles "True, but it's a yule tradition." <Kazuo`Raidon> He nods and smiles, gently setting her down on her chair again as he sits next to her, raising his glass of coco for a toast  * Catriona_Glenys smiles and picks hers up and clicks her mug to his  <Goldrol`Quinndil> ".... Boring..? I'm talking.. to a demon.. or one heck of an illusion.."  <Kazuo`Raidon>  He smiles to Yule. "And peace." <Catriona_Glenys> "And love." She smiles more and her tail twitches  <Horns> "No, demon is right." He says with a chuckle and nod. "Well, what did you read in the book about this place?" <Kazuo`Raidon> He nods and smiles <q> "Of course.. how could I forget the very thing that binds us, Kitten!" He nods again and smiles, taking a sip of his coco, his tail intertwining with hers.  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "All sorts of strange things.. there was an interesting chapter about felines with butterfly wings and fae like powers.."  * Catriona_Glenys purrs and leans up agianst him. "Shall we sit before the hearth or the tree?" <Goldrol`Quinndil> "I also hear the characters from the Cats play live here.. I've always wanted to meet one.."  <Horns> "We have _many_ of those here... just stay for a bit and you _will_ cross the path of one or the other, no doubt." He says with a chuckle "Hm... from the 'Cats' play you say?" He asks her with a wicked grin, looking all innocent "Impossible!" <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Seriously man.. Jellicals, I believe they were called.." She grins at him with a twinkle in her eye.  <Horns> "No _way_!" He replies with a chuckle <Goldrol`Quinndil> "You're a strange fellow.. How much are the rooms here..?"  <Kazuo`Raidon> He smiles at her as he shrugs lightly "You decide, love." <Catriona_Glenys> "Mmm... the hearth." She nods and takes Kaz's hand and leads him to the heath and the other two that are talking <Horns> "One gold per night." He replies with a smile "Unless you are going to study here... then we can offer dorms for a cheaper price." <Goldrol`Quinndil> "This place is a school..? What all do they teach?"  <Kazuo`Raidon> He rises and lets her lead her as he follows, looking at the two they are heading to  <Horns> "Wide range of stuff... general stuff, cooking, magic, agriculture, psionics, healing, arts, performing arts..." <Catriona_Glenys> The silvertabby cattassan and the large tigerman of unknown - or -remembered - race name head to the hearth and to a couch <Kazuo`Raidon> Mun still needs to invent a name for the race....Kaz offers a seat to her, as they reach the hearth, near the fireplace to let her enjoy the warmth from it  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Magic.." He hit the spot right there.. her eyes go wide. She then catches sight of the two cat folk and blinks a few times, watching them curiously..  * Horns chuckles lightly at Goldrol, then follows her gaze for a moment. "You will get used to the unusual here..."  * Catriona_Glenys leans up in Kaz's arms and smiles, relaxing against him  <Kazuo`Raidon> He holds her gently to him as he offers her a sip from her drink that he remembered to take along to the hearth <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Oh..? Well. How much to enroll in school here?"  <Horns> "That would be five platinum per semester, including dorm room, board and tuition." He replies, looking back at Goldie with a smile <Goldrol`Quinndil> "Plat... platinum.. Err.. Wait a minute.. Someone told me about thoes once.. Muggle money, isn't it?" She merps and starts digging into many various pockets within her robes, some of which are portable bottemless pits.. She finally finds the right pouch, labeled 'Medieval Muggle Monies' and dumps a handful out in every which coin and offers them towards him.  * Horns smirks, checking the coins thoroughly, then nods after a few moments, taking out five platinums with a smile. "Please, visit lady Softpaw to enroll... and give these to her." He says, handing the coins to Goldie  <Catriona_Glenys> "So how's classes going?" she asks after she takes her mug from him  <Goldrol`Quinndil> "That sounds easy enough.. will she be... easy to spot?" She takes the coins back from him.  <Kazuo`Raidon> He smiles. "Classes are good. Keeping my busy, but not too busy for you, my love." Smiles again and gently kisses her forehead <Horns> "Easy enough when you cross her path... even easier when she is agitated." He says with a smirk, describing her looks to Goldie * Goldrol`Quinndil would have usually told someone they out of their nut for sending her to a white feline Cattassan but after seeing Catriona and Kazuo she decides Horns must not be messing around.
