Taliesin, like many others, was not born on the planet Chaconne. Rather he was born and raised on a modern day Earth world. He was on his way home from school and choir practice, singing in the light drizzling rain on the steps of an abandoned Cathedral, when a peculiar man beckoned him to come inside. His memories after that are hazy; he knows he sang before strangers, had a few sips of wine… then fighting broke out and he was dragged about like a sack of grain.
His next lucid memories were his first waking in Rosepeak. He wandered into the Inn with a thirst water did nothing for and a general confusion about just where he was. It took some convincing before he believed it, but he was far from Earth, far from the universe it was in even, and was now a vampire.
Since that night Taliesin has gotten over the shock and adapted to life in Rosepeak. He tends bar at the Gilded Rose Inn and dates Angela Morningstar, an exotic dancer devil from the casino. Life has been treating Taliesin well.
