Forestwalker, young Whydah didn't fit in anywhere. She was abandoned as kitten and found by a drifter, who took her in and raised her. He knew about blacktails .. He knew about Forestwalkers .. And he knew about her inner
conflict. Most of her childhood was spent learning how to cope with the everlasting struggle inside of her, and only the hardheaded forestwalker
nature was able to bring her the strength that she needed to keep her evil and viscious Blacktail half down.
Well, most of the time.
When she was about fifteen, the blacktails got the drifter and killed him. They took Whydah with them, with promises of a happy home among her peers, but little did young Whydah know what they had in store for her. To make a long story short, she eventually managed to escape the Blacktails, but not before losing her wings to them and being horribly burned over a third of her face. She went straight to the Forestwalker pride, trying to find a home there, but because she was still being chased by the blacktails, the halfbreed was not welcome there either, and she was chased away, loosing her left hand in the process.
She traveled far and wide in search of a safe haven, but was shunned almost everywhere for her viscious nature, her sharp venomcoated tongue and her bitchy attitude. Eventually meeting up with a friendly blacksmith who made her a crude metal paw to replace the hand she had lost as well as a crude metal facemask to hide the scars on her face, she eventually ended up in
Rosepeak and found one thing that she thought she would never ever find anywhere. She found acceptance.
Finding friends and a life for herself made her loosen up quite considerably and she's no longer as bitchy and coldhearted as she was before, though
inside her the battle between her blacktail and Forestwalker halves still rages. She found a young male Faecat from the Riverheart pride. They fell in love with eachother, against all odds, and settled down to live a simple life, eventually adopting a son, Spade.
