Moira McTaggart started her fight carreer at an early age. Daughter of the massively popular MiddleWeight Champion of the World of 1965, James "The Demon" McTaggart. She began winning tournaments at the age of 14 under her fathers training. By the age of 16 she'd entered the professional fighting circuit (World Fighting League).
Competing in a male dominated sport has never been easy for female fighters but Moiras background and longtime involvement in the sport has broken quite a few barriers for her. And her skill has made her one of the few female 2 time world champions in any class.
Moiras taken few breaks off from fighting in her long carreer, once because of a broken spine and then to have her daughter. Her only other break off from fighting was after a very unusual divorce. Her husband of 4 years realized he was gay. Leaving her for the ringleader of a circus.
Recently she has retired from fighting and is training a fighter for the Middle
HeavyWeight Division.
