The race of beings that are half fairy and half cat know as Fae Cats are a rare and unique race. Human in size and body shape but with a feline face and other attributes. All have wings each pride having a different kind of wing. They posses magical powers that vary from pride to Pride.. but all have the ability to fly and to transport themselves over long distances instantaneously. When they use there magic and when they fly a shower of metallic sparkles happens the color of the sparkles varies among the Prides.
They originate in the mystic realm of Underhill ..which is a place neither hear nor there and is always spring. But for reasons long forgotten by those alive today all but  one of the six tribes left Underhill and migrated to what is know as Fae Valley a magic valley located in the mountains near Rosepeak
There are five different prides in the valley, each claming a part of the woods and the element  garden there in. The element of fire is guarded by the Firepaw pride who dwell near the River of  Flame. Earth would be the Forestwalker pride, which live in the deepest part of the wood. Air belongs to the tree top dwellers, the Cloudwing pride. Water have the RiverHeart pride, the ones by Gossamer lake. The aspect of death is followed be the cave dwelling Blacktail pride. The sixth pride and until recently, lost pride is the Brightpaw pride, living in Underhill  still they embody  light, and the aspect of life.
Fae Cats have a unique problem when it comes to falling in love and romances.  While they can live well into their hundreds.. in their entire life they can only have one love. EVER. Most times this works out well.. but upon occasion a fae cat falls in love with one that loves another.. or can not or will not for some reason love them back. Theses fae Cats are doomed to live short and lonely lives.. as they will literally die of a broken heart. Finding the one to love is very important to them.

THE PRIDES
 The Element garden is the source of the prides magic

Blacktail- (death)

Type of cat - Black panther
Element garden - Well of souls 
Wings - bat
Sparkles - black

The Blacktail pride following the ways of death and decay are short in stature with onyx eyes. They always where long dark cloaks hiding there true body form though they  seem to be frail they are not at all. Bat like wings in color of ebony with metallic air are on there back. They are highly deadly and desire for control and absolute domination. making  themselves the mortal enemy of all other prides, death and destruction always seem to follow  in there wake

 Forestwalker- (earth)

Type - Cougar
Element garden - grove of Gaia 
Wings - Mantis 
Sparkles - green and gold

Tall but not enormous. The Forest walker's are strong in build and muscular. Always prepared for a fight but being vary determined in nature, and loyalty runs high in there clan. Tan  to dusty in color, with copper claws and brown eyes. There wings resembling those of a Mantis in shape are copper color and made for endurance. They are social creatures and quite friendly They prefer have a kind word and  nice game with a friend over anything, but they are quick to arms for friends and comrades and are willing to fight.

Riverheart- (water)
 

Type - Cheetah
Element garden - Gossamer lake
Wings - dragonfly
Sparkles - Blue  and gold

The Riverheart pride is cunning and swift. Medium height and built for speed they  are not built for strength but they are far from frail. There wings are that of a dragonfly. That are  rust in color tipped in black. There claws are never retracted and are made of sturdy bronze.  fast and agile and always perceptive. they are the most creative and cunning of all the Fae cats. They enjoy things of beauty. being sly and deceptive when the need arises they are loners mostly preferring to be by themselves except in the case of mates. there eyes are pail  ice blue vary pricing holding.

 Firepaw- (fire)

Type-  Lion
Element garden - river of flame 
Wings - gold dragon 
Sparkles - red and gold

Possessing the strongest and most stubborn will's of any of the others. The Firepaw pride also have a vary bad temper and  are quick to anger. Though courage  loyalty and honor are held above all else to these fiery ones. family loyalty is the highest. as they have a vary close nit society structure. these ones are fairly tall and quite strong, males have  lions main though the females don't.  having the shimmering wings of a gold dragon as well  golden claws and eyes. the Firepaw clan are praised for there loyalty and sense of honor but generally avoided for there fiery temper

Cloudwing- (wind/air)

Type - Snow leopard
Element garden - Silver Breeze Canopy 
Wings - Lunar Moth
Sparkles - white and gold

The long fur of the Cloudwing pride is for fighting the cold air of the high atmosphere at witch they live. they are small in stature but are swift. vary intelligent and are the masterminds of the Fae cats. They practice many forms of healing, they are vary nurturing they  are kind and gentle, always vary presentable and polite they are always coming up with new ways to improve anything. they have silver translucent butterfly wings silver claws and cloud like marking on there fur. vary smooth and soft in appearance, there eyes are an inquisitive green. 


 
 

Brightpaw- (light/life)

Type- house cat
Element garden - Underhill
Wings - a butterfly like membrane . .
with an iridescent peacock feather  pattern on it 
Sparkles - gold and  purple 

The Brightpaw pride is the "lost" pride and yet at the same time.. the main tribe.. as they stayed in Underhill when the others left and until recently had no current knowledge of the other prides ..they are the fae cats of the light and life... but have been so long with out the  knowledge of the others.. that their powers are unknown to them.. but are still extremely potent  And also unique to them only.. they each have about them a totally naturally occurring scent of different kinds of flowers. each cat smelling of a different kind. It is said that if all the Brightpaws die off, then Underhill will die and if it goes so do the other prides.
